Hello, my name is Fardousi and I’ve been in the home childcare business for 17 years. I have a full time spot currently available for ages 2 and up, and a spot for a 1 year old opening in January.

I provide quality and loving care with a home away from home feel. where you and your child feel comfortable and safe.

I am first aid and CPR certified, as well as police record checked, as is my husband and our 4 daughters.

I am an RECE (registered early childhood educator). As you can tell, I love learning and implementing all that I learn into my childcare, and continue to learn from my children as well.

I provide home cooked nutritious meals following the Canadian food guide, allowing your children to taste many different types of cuisine, while eating fresh nutritious meals. Not only do they get to eat yummy meals, but they also get to assist in making some of their meals; from baking muffins, to rolling out their own tortillas. During the spring and summer, the children grow vegetables into my back garden, and then incorporate them into their meals and share them with their families. I believe this way the kids get a better understanding of the food that they eat and are able to see how their food grows, and then how to use those foods to make a meal.

In my play based childcare, I have created a fun and educational program at my daycare, allowing the children to learn, grow and have fun. We follow a daily routine which includes free play, circle time along with music time, yoga sessions and story time. Moreover, we have weekly “Show and Tell,” and educational activities focusing on colours, shapes and numbers and letters. We also visit a playgroup up to three times a week.

I am located in the east end near Monfort Hospital, Aviation parkway and CMHC, in a residential area. My house is smoke free and pet free with a nice backyard with a play structure and front yard, allowing for fun outdoor play. I’m also located very near to my local park.
