I am a childcare provider with over 18 years of experience working with children and families. I graduated from Algonquin College with a Social Service Worker Diploma. Upon graduation, I had a career as a Social Service Worker and shortly after, I got married. This is when I decided to open my own in home daycare, as I knew that when I had children, I wanted to be at home with them. Opening my own daycare allowed me to continue doing what I love and be at home with my children. Maggie’s Home Away from Home Daycare opened its doors in 2007 and since then I have had two children of my own, my two daughters . I truly love what I do and have had the privilege of working for incredible families over the years. Every family that I work for is respected, listened to and given my utmost care and attention; creating open lines of communication and ease. Every child that I care for is nurtured, treasured and given the opportunity to learn, play and grow through a multitude of intellectual and stimulating daily activities.
