Busy Bees Home Childcare is located on Ramsay Concession 5A just seconds outside Carleton Place. I am open Monday – Friday from 7am until 5 pm.

🐝 Daily fee includes 2 nutritious snacks and lunch. The daily fee is at a reduced rate due to the Canada-Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) Program.

🐝 daily screening done on each child prior to entry into the home to ensure we all stay healthy.

We have a large outdoor area to play in and spend 3 or more hours outside rain or shine. We love to explore the outdoors, play in puddles, get dirty, go for wagon rides in our wagon for six and have LOTS of fun.

I am licensed through CROW and opened my home daycare January 2020. I have my current First Aid and CPR, Food Handling Safety Certificate, a current police record check for both my husband and myself, completed fire inspection of our home, required daycare business insurance and I continue to improve my knowledge of how to best care for your child by taking online child development courses.

I have three wonderful children aged 18 yrs, 16 years and 12 years old.

I was previously a registered veterinary technician for 20 years so we are an animal loving home. We have 2 incredible dogs, 2 tolerant cats, 1 very cuddly bunny and lots of chickens & ducks. We also have pet fish in our playroom.

We do lots of fun activities. We love growing flowers from seeds and watching them sprout. We think bubbles and dirt are magical. This spring we hatched some baby chicks & ducks and have watched them grow up on the property. We also watched the life cycle of butterflies right in our playroom & released them outdoors when they were ready.

We participate in daily circle time where we are working on learning our numbers, colours, alphabet and days of the week. Our friend “Buzzy the Bee” is our daycare puppet that participates with us at circle time. We love to sing, play instruments and tell lots of great stories in our circle.

We also subscribe to various monthly activity boxes geared towards home daycares and children aged 18 months – 3 years old. Each month we have a different theme that we learn about and explore through crafts, songs and activities.
