Description
The purpose of this kit is to provide you with a starting off place to discuss worries and fears with young children. It includes 2 books, a felt dragon puppet, and 8 different « calming tools” (10 in total) for your calm and connected “toolbox”. A child feeling anxious or worried may benefit from the calming, predictable, and rhythmical motor movements associated with one or more of the items. Focusing on a fidget or comfort toy can also help to re-direct anxious thoughts. Keep in mind, your attentive presence is the most important « tool » in the toolbox.
