Based in part on the lovely book “If You Plant a Seed” by Kadir Nelson and inspired by a love of gardening, this kit includes a copy of the board book along with two main elements to enhance learning and play. The first element is a beautiful story pocket puppet “The Whimsical Watering Can” (complete with “water”!) and includes three adorable little hand-felted animals (mouse, rabbit, bird). Use your Whimsical Watering Can to tell stories, share feelings, introduce new concepts, build empathy, and so much more! The second element is a set of 20 Wooden Wonder discs: 5 each of carrot, tomato, & cabbage plus 1 each of garden gloves, spade, soil, seeds, and garden bed. Use these discs in combination with your Whimsical Watering Can or on their own to develop imagination along with early literacy and numeracy skills.
