Description
- Pick-up your Painted Lady caterpillars in early JUNE, 2025 (exact date to be confirmed) from one of four Ottawa locations (Stittsville, Barrhaven, Orleans, or Central) – Pick up date and location to be arranged by email.
- Observe and enjoy watching the caterpillars grow. After 1-2 weeks they will transform into the chrysalis and in 8-10 days will emerge as butterflies. Observe and enjoy the butterflies for a few days and then release them outside on a nice day.
- Caterpillars are 5 per cup and include their own food supply. Butterfly enclosure NOT INCLUDED. You will need a mesh hamper or large bin for the butterflies to fly around safely. Please see this blog article for more information: https://ccprn.com/caring-for-caterpillars/
