Board of Directors Call for Nominations

Child Care Providers Resource Network is a non-profit charitable organization that provides information, training, resources, and support to those looking after children in a home setting.

We are currently looking for passionate, committed, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors. Vacant positions include the following:

·        President

·        Vice-President

·        Chairperson

·        Secretary

·        Treasurer

·        Director at Large

The President and Directors are elected to one-year terms. All Directors including the President hold office until their successors have been duly elected. Directors, if qualified, are eligible for re-election. The Board President and other Board positions are voted on from the nominee pool.

Ideal volunteers have knowledge of and an interest in home child care. Good communication skills are essential and skills, knowledge, or experience in one of the following areas would be an asset:

* Marketing

* Fundraising/Grant Writing

* Accounting 

Previous Board experience is not necessary. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents, home child care providers, community partners, and/or mature students seeking to gain experience with a volunteer Board.

Board meetings are virtual; directors can volunteer from anywhere in the province.
