External Contractor: Communications & Marketing
CCPRN is currently seeking a talented and creative individual to support our team with digital marketing, brand awareness, communications, fundraising, and outreach.
We’re looking for someone who will elevate the profile of the organization and its network reach – someone to help inspire and inform the home child care community by developing, designing, and distributing timely, high-quality digital material.
Work from home position:
· You must have access to reliable, high speed internet and your own laptop/computer suitable for efficient work and virtual meetings
· 20 hours/week, hours of work to be determined, flexible (potential to work some evenings/weekends if you prefer or to accommodate another work position)
· 3 month contract with the possibility of extension
· Start date: October 14th, 2025 or earlier
· You will invoice us for services (similar to a consultant) and will be paid as a contractor (not an employee)
· Hourly rate: $28 – $30, depending on experience
· You must live and be legally able to work in Ontario
The Child Care Providers Resource Network is a non-profit, charitable organization driven to empower, support, and connect individuals who seek or offer child care in a home setting. We offer a variety of engaging programs and resources to support early learning and play.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will consult on and support the development and execution of the organization’s marketing and communications initiatives.
The successful candidate will support CCPRN with:
· The development and implementation of CCPRN’s overall digital communications strategy, including social media content, ensuring a consistent and engaging voice, tone, and style.
· Paid digital and/or social media ad campaigns that drive goals including web traffic, newsletter sign-ups, and workshop registration.
· The creation of digital assets for both website and social media use.
· Other communications related tasks, as needed.
Qualifications include:
· Experience creating digital content (graphics, reels, posts, ads, etc.) for a variety of platforms and social media channels.
· Experience as a Home Child Care Provider, Early Childhood Educator, or equivalent experience working in Ontario’s early years and child care sector is preferred (but not required).
· Good knowledge of administrative and communications software, including MS Office Suite, Zoom, Canva, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, and WordPress.
· Strong attention to detail, and a high degree of efficiency, accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.
· Experience creating, reporting on, and optimizing paid digital and social media advertising campaigns is a strong asset.
· Experience with video editing is an asset.
· Experience working within the non-profit sector is preferred.
· Excellent language skills in English required, French language skills an asset.
